Slowdown Friday: Why Doing Less May Actually be More

I'll admit I'm as much a "work in progress" as the next guy but hosting The Daily Saint gives me a layer of accountability that is both a challenge and an encouragement.  Last night is a good example: home from work at 5:30, birthday party for my daughter's friend at 6, present to buy for daughter's friend on the way there, late to party by 30 minutes, home by 8:30pm.  Maybe this kind of frenetic pace sounds familiar?

As another Slowdown Friday is upon us, here's a thought: what can you NOT do this weekend in order to streamline your life?  Our culture is all about adding one more thing to an already full schedule so why not buck the trend and do less this weekend?
